In your situation I think the blinking light just means that the power coming into the boat from the generator is not exactly "clean," but probably fine if you are not getting any other issues. I would love to know exactly what the issue had been, and maybe the boat moving away is just a coincidence. I assume that somehow that boat must have been doing something to our power pedestal.
