The manual from Hanse does not give a lot of info about the flashing light, but I suspect we all have a very sensitive indicator that the power is not perfect.

In your situation I think the blinking light just means that the power coming into the boat from the generator is not exactly "clean," but probably fine if you are not getting any other issues. I would love to know exactly what the issue had been, and maybe the boat moving away is just a coincidence. I assume that somehow that boat must have been doing something to our power pedestal.
Note that some Battery Tender chargers like the 800 Jr have green and amber (yellow) lights. The only thing that had changed was that the boat sharing our pedestal had moved to another slip after being our neighbor for the past 3-4 years. What comes up as the most similar description of a problem, a flashing red light is either the battery has too low a charge (under 3 volts). But about a month ago the blinking stopped. I tried hooking to other nearby pedestals and the other side of our shared pedestal. This red-green flashing indicates that the battery polarity is incorrectly connected. Recently I tried to find the power issue by replacing shore cables, splitters, etc, and nothing worked. I attributed it to "dirty" power that would not cause an issue. I had stupidly left the ignition key turned on in my BMW R1200GS for about a week and the Earth-X Li battery showed a little less than 3 V. Everything worked fine and from what I read it was not a sign of impending doom. This is very likely the correct answer, i.e. We got our 385 in 2016 and from the moment I hooked it to our shore power I had the flashing green/red light.
